Kuthiramalika or Puthenmalika Palace
Puthen Malika Palace is on the south-eastern side of Padmanabhaswamy temple. The palace is now converted to a traditional art museum. The collection includes Kathakali mannequins, Belgian mirrors, crystal chandeliers, paintings, musical instruments, traditional furniture and other artifacts. The palace has a large collection of idols and sculptures made from white marble. We can see a Navarathri Mandapam right in front of the palace, where traditional sound reflectors are used during music concerts.
