Sree Padmanbhaswamy Temple
Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is one of the richest temple located in India. The word 'Thiruvananthapuram' literally means - the land of Sree Anantha Padmanabhaswamy. The temple is a blend of indigenous Kerala style and Dravidian style architecture. The principal deity Vishnu is enshrined in the "Anantha Shayanam" posture, the eternal yogic sleep on the serpent Adisheshan. The temple has a particular dress code to follow. Only Hindus are permitted inside the temple.
